Understanding God's word and what it
means in our lives is central to living a peaceful and
rewarding spiritual life as well as being able to understand
and cope with whatever happens in our lives. Check out
our Bulletin for this season's
bible study Events.

Fellowship Sundays
|
|
Once a month usually on the
second Sunday we will have coffee, cookies and coffee after
the worship service. This is a great opportunity for fellowship.
If you would like to help with the preparation, you can
sign up on the appropriate list at church. See our Bulletin for dates. |
Frohe
Runde
|
Although Frohe Runde (conducted in German only) is designed
primarily for seniors, everybody is welcome!
We usually meet on the last Tuesday of each month at 11:30
a.m. Everybody brings his/her own lunch and we also enjoy
coffee and cake together. After devotion to open the meeting,
we have a time of fellowship and singing. Once in a while
we watch a movie or have a discussion on interesting topics.

Youth Activities
|
Depending on our human and financial resources WEC plans to
address the growing youth population in our church. In
2005, we were very lucky to have found a youth group leader,
Hans, who came from Germany to guide our young people.
Now we are please to offer the Youth Group again, led
by Youth Leaders Felix & Jakob. Please view our
Youth Group page for additional
details.
In 2006/2007, Pastor Riehl will be leading Confirmation Class
for some of our youth. It will be a very special time when
the congregation can witness them take their own vows
as willing servants of the Lord. Confirmation of this
group is tentatively scheduled for June 10th, 2007.
